2020 Volkswagen Golf Washington DC
Like its predecessors, the 2020 Volkswagen Golf won’t disappoint any driver looking for a high-class compact vehicle. Its premium design, smooth handling and large cargo space make it a top pick in the hatchback segment. For 2020, Volkswagen has limited the Golf lineup to one trim level: the Golf TSI. Additional high-safety features now come standard in the model and some infotainment upgrades have been made as well. The 2020 Golf is expected to make its debut in the US market around the back half of 2020.

The 2020 Volkswagen Golf is an ideal vehicle for daily driving thanks to its stable handling and smooth ride. Its 1.4-liter 4V engine generates 147 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission come standard in the vehicle, while an eight-speed automatic is available for an $800 upgrade.
The 2020 Golf features a user-friendly 6.5-inch touch-screen that incorporates a touch sensor with swiping and pinching functions. The TSI model also comes with Wi-Fi hot spot and a Car-Net enhanced version, which in addition to providing navigation and traffic information, now allows the driver to remotely start the car and check the fuel level.
Inside, the 2020 Golf TSI feels almost like a luxury vehicle. Standard features include synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, a synthetic leather-wrapped steering wheel and a panoramic sunroof, all of which contribute to an upscale finish not often offered in base models of this segment.
