2020 Volkswagen Passat Engine Specs and Features

The new model year will bring with it some big changes for the popular sedan, which will be undergoing a huge redesign. Here’s what we know so far about what’s new for the upcoming 2020 Volkswagen Passat.
For starters, the new 2020 Volkswagen Passat will feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4cylinder TSI engine that’s capable of producing an impressive 174 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque for a quick and exciting performance. Drivers also benefit from the car’s six-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission system with paddle shifters for engaging manual shifting.

The new 2020 model will also sport a new look with a fresh exterior redesign, which includes bolder body lines, a sleeker profile, slim LED headlight and taillights, aluminum alloy wheels and a large front grille. Passat badging is also more prominent than ever with this head-turning vehicle.
Inside, the changes continue with a redesigned interior layout, which includes a more spacious and comfortable cabin, giving driver and passengers plenty of head and legroom. High-quality materials cover the interior as well including Nappa leather. Not to be forgotten is the model’s available features like its MIB II infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, dual-zone Climatronic automatic climate control, voice control, Fender Premium Audio System, heated front seats, and much more.
