2.0L TSI® Engine in the 2019 VW Tiguan

For a sporty experience, this engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This transmission also includes Sport mode for manual shifting and enhanced control.

4MOTION® All-Wheel Drive

If you are looking to maximize the potential of the Tiguan, then consider the Front passenger aerial angle of an orange 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan driving in the rain4MOTION® all-wheel drive. This drivetrain is available to send engine power between the front and rear wheels for enhanced grip on the road. Since it carries the same engine, you can expect the same power as the standard front-wheel drive. This drivetrain will include Snow Mode, On-Road Mode, Off-Road Mode, and Off-Road Custom. Since we are in the northern half of the United States, we highly recommend 4MOTION® AWD for the icy road conditions in winter even if you don’t travel off-road.
