Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze Performance Specs
An eye-catching new design from Volkswagen engineers, the T-Cross Breeze Concept provides the performance to match. Under the hood, the convertible SUV concept employs a turbocharged and direct-injected 1.0-liter four-cylinder engine that manufactures an energetic 129 pound-feet of torque.
Mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels, the Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze powertrain is capable of going from zero to 62 mph in 10.3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 117 mph. Efficiency is another highlight of the T-Cross Breeze design, which possesses a projected driving range of 497 miles and will make 47 mpg combined.
Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze Exterior and Interior
In a class all its own, the convertible SUV concept is sure to turn heads when it goes to production. At the front, the T-Cross Breeze implements a wide radiator grille and narrow LED headlights that are complemented by slim LED daytime running lights and distinctive fog lights. Sharp, double character lines run the length of the body and draw the eye to LED taillights and a spacious 10.6 cubic-foot trunk. A set of 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and a Summer Green Metallic exterior with Deep Teal accents complete the package.
Inside the Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze, you will be surrounded by futuristic controls that made their debut in the zero-emission Volkswagen BUDD-e concept. Save for the control stalk, power window switches and buttons that open and close the convertible soft-top, the T-Cross Breeze interior controls are all touch-sensitive surfaces. Clad in Summer Green Soft special-effect paint with Deep Teal accents, the new concept with a sleek, new-age cockpit is sure to shock and awe many drivers.
