2016 Volkswagen Beetle Dune Design and Features
Volkswagen Beetle coupes and convertibles aren’t anything if not fun. Everything about the Beetle shouts fun and excitement. Built on an iconic platform, new 2015 Volkswagen Beetle models add a modern flair to the old classic and it has improved even further with the unveiling of the 2016 Volkswagen Beetle Dune design and features. Offered as a new trim in the Volkswagen Beetle model lineup, the Beetle Dune harnesses the spirit of the original Beetle with a more rugged design and a long list of features that add to the fun and excitement.
Volkswagen Beetle Dune Design and Style
Built with a more aggressive stance, the Beetle Dune adds new front and rear fascia and emphasized black wheel arch extensions that meld well with a new bumper. An aggressive stance is made even more apparent with a 0.4 inch raised ride height and wheel track that is 0.6 inches wider. The new front bumper features a larger central air intake that employs black honeycomb air design with an aluminum surround that functions as a front skid plate.
This new off-road-inspired Volkswagen Beetle emphasizes its style even further with Bi-Xenon headlights with LED foglights and daytime running lights. Aluminum body accents combine with black trim that give the Volkswagen Beetle Dune a tremendous new style and are reminiscent of classic Beetle running boards. Add to the distinctive look with 18-inch Canyon aluminum alloy wheels that are functional and stylish. Available in three exterior colors, Sandstorm Yellow, Pure White and Deep Black Pearl, the Volkswagen Beetle Dune will be available in coupe and convertible configurations.
